St. Lawrence University’s Alumni Executive Council has announced that William W. Dennett '68, M'74, Jeremy T. Smith '73 and Erica Silver Dahl '93 will receive Alumni Citations for their dedication and service to the Laurentian Community, while Christopher L. Bunting ’93 and Francis Chachu Ganya ’96 will receive the Sol Feinstone Award for Humanitarian Service.
Ashley Fendler Saville ’08 is the owner and founder of ANENOME based in Burlington, Vermont. A self-taught sewist, Ashley shares her passion for upcycling textiles, specifically quilts, which she re-purposes into beautiful yet functional handmade clothing items. While at St. Lawrence, Ashley was a psychology major, a member of the rowing team, and lived in Java.
St. Lawrence has named Troy Finn its Vice President for University Advancement, President Kathryn A. Morris announced on March 27. Finn, who will be responsible for all fundraising and Laurentian engagement activities, plans to begin his duties on May 15.

St. Lawrence University has received a $1 million gift from Barbara Christie ’76 to create an endowment to permanently fund the position of the director of the Laurentian Singers and enhance the tradition of choral excellence at St. Lawrence University. In recognition of this gift, the University will name the Director of Laurentian Singers, the Barbara S. Christie ’76 Director of Laurentian Singers.
