Dan Brindisi ’89
Dan Brindisi graduated from St. Lawrence in 1989 with a B.A. in mathematics and economics and holds an MBA in General Management from Northeastern University. Dan is the head of institutional relationship management at Fidelity Investments in Boston. Dan was elected as a term trustee in 2024.
Jo Ann Campbell ’86
Jo Ann Campbell graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1986 with a B.A. in economics and holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. A former senior executive with General Electric and Eastman Kodak Company, she currently provides operational finance management and consulting services for business turnarounds and non-profits. She was elected as a term trustee in 2000 and is past vice chair of the board.
Andrew Chan ’14
Andrew Chan graduated from St. Lawrence in 2014 with a B.A. in economics and holds a master’s degree in analytics from Johns Hopkins University, as well as an MBA from Duke University. Based in North Carolina, he serves as Director of Product Management at Thomson Reuters. Andy was elected as a McCurdy-Sprague Trustee in 2021.
Kathleen Perkins Colson '79
Kathleen Perkins Colson graduated from St. Lawrence in 1979 with a B.A. in government. She is the founder of an economic development organization, BOMA, that currently works in seven African countries with over 500 employees. Based in Saranac Lake, New York, she is now the chief executive officer of Big Idea Nonprofit Consulting. Kathleen was elected as a term trustee in 2022.
André Couture ’82
André Couture graduated from St. Lawrence in 1982 with a B.A. in economics. He has held various top leadership positions in a family-owned rendering business for more than 35 years and his Chair Emeritus of Sanimax. André was elected as a term trustee in 2007.
William "Bill" Cowan ’86
William "Bill" Cowan graduated from St. Lawrence in 1986 with a B.A. in economics and holds a master’s degree in business administration and public health from the University of Michigan (1992). He serves as the president and a director of Enthought, Inc., based in Austin, Texas. Bill was elected as a term trustee in 2017.
Sharee Freeman ’76
Sharee Freeman graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1976 with a B.A. in government and sociology. Based in Washington, D.C., she serves as Director at Office of Self Governance, United States Department of the Interior. Sharee was elected as a term trustee in 2003.
Robyn Gengras ’94
Robyn Gengras graduated from St. Lawrence in 1994 with a B.A. in English and has a master’s degree in both print and broadcast journalism from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She began her journalism career at CBS News working on the weekly newsmagazine “60 Minutes.” She is currently a producer for MSNBC and “Morning Joe” co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough and is the executive editorial producer of Brzezinski’s “Know Your Value” platform. Robyn was elected as a term trustee in 2023.
Keith Henry ’84
Keith Henry graduated from St. Lawrence in 1984 with a B.A. in economics. After a 30-year career in leadership roles with Merrill Lynch, Keith joined the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management’s flagship New York City office as the Regional Director in 2022. Keith was elected as a term trustee in 2024.
Julie Black Hitch ’88
Julie Hitch graduated from St. Lawrence University with a bachelor’s degree in English in 1988 and went on to earn her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Arizona. Since graduation, Julie has continued to serve in various alumni volunteer roles with St. Lawrence. Julie was elected a Term Trustee in 2024.
Peter Hunt ’75
Peter Hunt graduated from St. Lawrence in 1975 with a B.A. in government. He is Chairman and CEO of Hunt Real Estate Corporation, headquartered in Buffalo, New York. Peter was elected as a term trustee in 2003.
Jay Ireland ’77
Jay Ireland graduated from St. Lawrence in 1977 with a B.A. in government. He is retired CEO of General Electric Africa and currently serves as Executive Chairman of Milele Energy. Jay was elected as a term trustee in 2001.
Ed Keller ’86
Ed Keller graduated from St. Lawrence in 1985 with a B.S. in psychology and holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (1991). He is the retired Managing Director and the Global Head of Prime Brokerage at Morgan Stanley in New York City. Ed was elected as a term trustee in 2018 and became co-vice chair of the board in 2023.
Kirk Kellogg ’91
Kirk Kellogg graduated from St. Lawrence in 1991 with a B.A. in economics and holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Kellogg Group LLC, based in New York City. Kirk was elected as a term trustee in 2006.
Shauna King ’79
Shauna King graduated from St. Lawrence in 1979 with a B.S. in psychology and holds a master’s degree in accounting and finance from Cornell University. She retired as Vice President of Finance and Business Operations at Yale University. Now based in Dallas, Texas, Shauna was elected a term trustee in 2017 and she became co-vice chair of the board in 2023.
Mark Klett ’74
Mark Klett graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1974 with a B.S. in geology and holds an honorary doctor of arts degree from his alma mater (2004). He is Professor Emeritus and retired Regents’ Professor of Art at Arizona State University. Mark was elected as a term trustee in 2019.
Stephanie Birrell Luedke ’94
Stephanie Birrell Luedke graduated from St. Lawrence in 1994 with a B.A. in economics and mathematics. She serves as Managing Director, Head of Private Wealth Management at Neuberger Berman, based in New York City. Stephanie was elected as a term trustee in 2019.
Lisa Tarbox Luke ’82
Lisa Tarbox Luke graduated from St. Lawrence in 1982 with a B.A. in economics. She serves as director of the Sea Girt Public Library in Sea Girt, New Jersey. Lisa was elected as a term trustee in 2018.
Heather McCauley ’06
Heather McCauley graduated from St. Lawrence in 2006 with a B.A. in sociology and holds a Doctor of Science in social epidemiology from the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University. She serves as associate professor in the School of Social Work at Michigan State University. She was elected as a McCurdy-Sprague Trustee from 2013 to 2017 and was elected as a term trustee in 2018.
Kathryn Morris
Kathryn Morris graduated from Gettysburg College in 1992 with a B.S. in psychology, and she holds master’s and doctoral degrees in social psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She was elected President of St. Lawrence University in 2021 and became a trustee in 2021.
Obi Nwaigwe ’14
Obi Nwaigwe graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2014 with a B.A. in economics. He is a Business Analytics Specialist on the IEX Exchange team of IEX Group, Inc. in New York City. Obi was elected as a McCurdy-Sprague Trustee in 2023.

Scott O’Connell graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1987 with a B.A. in government and holds a JD from Cornell Law School (1991). He is a partner at Holland & Knight LLP, based in Boston. Scott was elected as a term trustee in 2018.
Nick Penniman ’92
Nick Penniman graduated from St. Lawrence in 1992 with a B.A. in philosophy. Based in Washington, D.C., he is a nonprofit executive and journalist who is the founder and CEO of Issue One. Nick was elected as a term trustee in 2022.
Emma Phillips ’16
Emma Phillips graduated from St. Lawrence in 2016 with a B.S. in environmental studies and holds a master’s degree in sustainability management from the Kogod School of Business at American University. Emma is currently the Agriculture Program Manager at the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe's Environment Division. She was elected as a McCurdy-Sprague Trustee in 2021.
Derrick Pitts ’78
Derrick Pitts graduated from St. Lawrence in 1978 with a B.S. in geology. He serves as vice president and chief astronomer/director for Fels Planetarium & Tuttleman Omniverse Theater at the Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia. Derrick was elected as a term trustee in 1999.
Carolyn Davidow Putney ’88
Carolyn Davidow Putney graduated from St. Lawrence in 1988 with a B.A. in art and theater. She also holds an associate degree in interior design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Carolyn has worked as a residential interior designer and is actively involved in community service leadership and philanthropic organizations in the San Francisco Bay area. Carolyn was elected as a term trustee in 2022.
Jennifer Curley Reichert ’90
Jennifer Curley Reichert graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1990 with a B.A. in government and holds a master’s degree in political science from American University. Based in Washington D.C., she is Founder and CEO of Curley Company. Jennifer was elected as a McCurdy-Sprague Trustee from 1999 to 2003, was first elected as a term trustee in 2010, served as vice chair of the board from 2018-2023, and currently serves as chair of the board.
Christina Robichaud ’14
Christina Robichaud graduated from St. Lawrence in 2014 with a B.A. in economics and holds a master’s degree in resource economics & policy from the University of Maine. Based in Washington D.C., she is an economist for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Christina was elected as a McCurdy-Sprague Trustee in 2023.

Trip Samson graduated from St. Lawrence in 1980 with a B.A. in economics and English. He is founder and president of Landmark Management Inc., based in New York City. Trip was elected as a term trustee in 2014.
Tim Simpson ’80
Tim Simpson graduated from St. Lawrence in 1980 with a B.A. in history, and he holds a JD from the University of Notre Dame (1983). Based in Morristown, New Jersey, Tim is the retired Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of Covanta Holding Corporation. He was elected as a term trustee in 2016.
Nicoline Carlson Sawabini ’79
Nicoline Carlson Sawabini graduated from St. Lawrence in 1979 with a B.A. in economics. Based in Charlotte, Vermont, she is retired Managing Director for Risk Management at General Electric Capital Commercial Real Estate. Nicoline was elected as a term trustee in 2015.
Marion Roach Smith ’77
Marion Roach Smith graduated from St. Lawrence in 1977 with a B.A. in government. A former staff member of the New York Times, she is a writer, teacher and community volunteer based in Troy, New York. Marion was elected as a term trustee in 2001.
Kathleen Welch ’81
Kathleen Welch graduated from St. Lawrence in 1981 with a B.A. in economics, and she holds a JD from the University at Buffalo. She is a founding principal of Corridor Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm. Kathleen was elected as a term trustee in 2019.
William Wilson ’88
William Wilson graduated from St. Lawrence in 1988 with a B.A. in government and holds a JD from University of Miami (1994). He serves as President of Longfellow Management, based in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Will was elected as a term trustee in 2019.
Donna Winston ’85
Donna Winston graduated from St. Lawrence in 1985 with a B.A. in fine arts. Based in New York City, she is the chief talent officer at Pretium, based in New York City. Donna was elected as a term trustee in 2010.
