In honor of the diversity of films from around the world and in homage to the indispensable Cinema 10 series of Potsdam, the Department of World Languages, Cultures & Media, and the Language Resource Center are pleased to present:
Goodbye Berlin (2016)
The 2016 German comedy-drama "Tschick," directed by Fatih Akın, is adapted from Wolfgang Herrndorf's popular 2010 novel, which is known as "Why We Took the Car" in English-speaking regions. The film follows two teenage outsiders from Berlin who embark on a quirky road trip across Eastern Germany in a stolen car during their summer break.
