Join us in April for: Balancing AI’s Power Needs: The Future of Natural Gas, Nuclear, and Renewables with Dr. David Murphy, Professor and Chair, Environmental Studies . Artificial Intelligence is a tool that is seeing rapid increases in usage, but it is also a system that has high energy demand. As a result, overall power demand is projected to increase for the first time in decades. In this session, Dr. David Murphy will talk about his recent work on “powering AI” and the challenges facing renewable energy when it comes to grid integration.
