Using Photovoice to Explore Rural Adults’ Experiences Accessing Primary Care Services in the Upper West Region of Ghana with Dr. Joseph Braimah, Assistant Professor, Public Health.
Ghana’s older adult population has increased steadily over the years amid weakening social ties, economic hardship, and physical environmental changes. In this talk, Dr. Braimah will explore the experiences of rural older adults (ages 60+) accessing primary care services in the context of Ghana’s Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) initiative. CHPS is a primary health care promotion initiative implemented in Ghana to eliminate geographic barriers to accessing primary care services.
