Join us for a celebration of pi-day with a St. Lawrence University tradition: the πathlon! Complete with FRESH HOMEMADE PIES!
If you choose you and a team of up to 3 other members can compete for prizes and prestige!
The idea? Complete (approximately) π events. How?
We’ll explain, but essentially you finish 3 full events and then aim for 14% of a fourth!
· 4:15 – Eat Pie
· 4:30 – πathlon competition begins
· 5:00 – Circle drawing competition outside the PQRC
· 5:10 – Closing ceremonies
During the competition there will be a mathematics video arcade in Bewkes 107 consisting of mathematics-based video games.
These can be used for competition, or just for play!
*We realize that Pi Day is March 14, but we will be observing Pi Day on March 26.
