The Eta Xi chapter of the Earth Sciences Honorary Society, Sigma Gamma Epsilon, is proud to announce its 28th induction ceremony. We congratulate, Eli Idec ’22, Michael Yirenkyi ’22 and Lehlomela (Simon) Mofali ’23 as our new inductees.
The Society of Sigma Gamma Epsilon recognizes scholarship and professionalism in the Earth Sciences. It has for its objectives the scholastic, scientific, and professional advancement of its members and the extension of relations of friendship and assistance among colleges and universities which are devoted to the advancement of the Earth Sciences. Dr. Alexander K. Stewart, Geology Department Chair is the faculty advisor and the societies Northeastern Provincial Vice President.
