Environmental Studies Students Presented at NYSAR3 Annual Conference
Environmental Studies (ENVS) Students, Vivian Zymeck, Alejandra Altimarano Salazar, Valeria Obregon Diaz, Abigail Lateer, and Sharia Neha participated in the NYSAR3 Annual Conference and Tradeshow 2023 led by ENVS faculty Lori Clark in Cooperstown, NY from November 14 through November 16th
Students also had a chance to meet Kate Walker, SLU class of ’01 who graduated from ENVS and currently works as the Executive Director of the Center for Sustainable Materials Management at SUNY ESF, and learned more about new legislation related to textile recycling and emerging alternatives for food waste packaging.
Students presented two different research projects:
