Hosted by the Institute for EU Studies at the State University of New York (SUNY), this annual event, known as SUNY Mock European Union (MEU), has been a cornerstone of experiential learning since 1988.
The simulation offers participants a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the proceedings of the European Council and the EU Council. This year's event boasted over 100 students from 16 universities and colleges. St. Lawrence was the most represented institution, with a total of 16 students in attendance, thanks to generous support from the Academic Dean's Office, the First-Year Program, the Patti McGill Peterson Center for International and Intercultural Studies, and the Government Department.
