Professor publishes chapter on collaborating with East African educators
Robin Rhodes, Director of International Student Academic Support, has the forthcoming chapter "Engaging East African Voices For Teacher Education in the Digital Age: Exploring Transnational Virtual Collaboration" coming out in a new book in March. Part of the edited volume Mobility of Knowledge, Practice and Pedagogy in TESOL Teacher Education, her chapter explores work based directly on her teaching at SLU. For many years, students in Professor Rhodes's classes have collaborated with teachers and students in schools in both Rwanda and Kenya, providing important opportunities to engaging in cross-cultural conversations about education and develop their skills for teaching in diverse classrooms.
