The Center for International and Intercultural Studies is pleased to congratulate several SLU students who were awarded scholarship funds by DIS to support their off-campus study plans in Copenhagen, Denmark for the Fall 2022 semester. DIS Scholarship funds can assist with costs associated with off-campus study including flights, visas, and passports, as well as other on-site opportunities.
Looking ahead to her off-campus study semester, scholarship recipient Janeil Speid '24 shared, "I am mostly excited to learn about the Danish culture and take courses that I wouldn't be able to take here [on St. Lawrence's campus]. I plan to take Game Development: Programming and Practice, Anthropology of Food, Computational Analysis of Big Data and the Danish Language and Culture course."
Congratulations, Janeil, and our other DIS scholarship recipients!
Advisors at the Center for International and Intercultural Studies are available to share more information about scholarship opportunities for off-campus study. This includes generous additional financial aid and airfare assistance through the generosity of St. Lawrence alumni, as well as scholarship opportunities through off-campus study programs and national organizations.
