St. Lawrence University’s Diversity Committee is excited to celebrate our third Diversity & Inclusion week. This spring our theme for the week will be Diversity & Inclusion: Conversation, Contemplation, Celebration. The Week will take place from March 1-7, 2021. All programs are virtual. The login credentials will be available via your St. Lawrence email or Presence https://stlawu.presence.io/. A few events are still pending zoom links, which will be posted on Presence.
Our programs and events will:
- Foster conversations
- Encourage individual contemplation and reflection on identity
- Encourage celebration across many aspects of intersectionality and diversity

Student Center Art Exhibition
Title: All Are Welcome Here: Strength and Beauty in Black and Brown
Description: All Are Welcome Here: Strength and Beauty in Black and Brown is an exhibit of paintings, drawings, and photographs highlighting work of St. Lawrence University students and recent alumnae. The artists in the show all voiced a desire to represent themselves, their peers, and other BIPOC figures of importance in ways that highlight the beauty, joy, strength, and love within BIPOC communities, both at SLU and beyond. The exhibition title draws from the teachings of the late Rev. Kathleen Buckley, University Chaplain from 2001 to 2020.
Global Scholars Multilingual Map

Language & Cultural Exchange Program
The Language and Cultural Exchange Program has groups that meet every week to practice language and share cultural information. We are currently practicing seven different languages.
