The purchase of WNYV expands the reach of St. Lawrence's radio operations in the region.

St. Lawrence University’s Ducks Unlimited chapter has been highlighted by the New York Backcountry Hunters website for its commitment to the environment. The chapter has dedicated numerous hours to planting nearly 1,500 trees to reestablish a wetland near West Turin, New York.

General Biology Course Coordinator and Outdoor Studies Staff of the Biology Department Eileen Visser has been the subject of multiple news outlets such as WWNY News 7 and our local North Country Now News for the completion of her paddling journey. Visser set out on her journey with her team The Arctic Cowboys to kayak the Northwest Passage in mid-June. She recently made history as part of the first team to paddle across the Arctic Ocean’s Northwest Passage in one season, finishing her 1,800-mile journey in 108 days.
