Eduardo Puerta ’22 was awarded a “best speaker” prize for his presentation on his research exploring connections between knot theory and linear algebra at the Mathematics Contest and Competition of Northern New York (MCCNNY) on March 26.
Rutherford Professor of Mathematics Dan Look is a long-time organizer of MCCNNY, a competition that fosters collaboration within the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley while providing career, REU, and graduate school information to mathematics students while celebrating their success.
