Emily Cafarella '21, a member of SLU EMS who also serves as an EMT in nearby Massena, was recently featured in the Watertown Daily Times for her work on the frontlines battling the COVID-19 virus.
She says that serving her home community has been especially rewarding, and has been working 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. duty shifts every five days, even while completing her junior year at St. Lawrence this spring.
Emily was recently featured in St. Lawrence's "Laurentians Inspire" series, which has shared stories of students and alumni doing critical and innovative work during the pandemic.
