What are the deadlines to submit forms?

  • Add/drop forms are due the seventh day of classes.
  • Pass/fail requests are due at the end of the ninth week of classes.
  • Course withdrawal requests are due at the end of the tenth week of classes.
  • Academic petitions are due by Friday at noon during each week when classes are in session. The Academic Petitions Committee meets on Fridays and students receive results that day or on the following Monday.
  • Declaration of at least one major must be completed during your second semester of sophomore year (In 2021, it is February 26 for Fall/Spring students; May 28 for Fall/Summer and Spring/Summer students). Otherwise, major/minor/advisor cards have no deadline. Processing time is usually 2-3 business days, but may be longer during peak times.
