In Memory: Enzo Corigliano ’22
Dear Laurentian friends,
I write with the difficult and sad news that Enzo Corigliano ’22 from La Flèche, France, died earlier today.
A Performance and Communication Arts and Francophone Studies major, Enzo was also a member of the Saints Squash team. He was well known by many members of the Laurentian community as he worked as a French Tutor for the Peer Tutoring Program and as a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Modern Languages. Enzo was always willing to offer a helping hand, which was evident last spring when he served on the Theme House Selection Committee and when he volunteered his time to assist others carrying items to their rooms during Move-in Day this fall. Prior to arriving at St. Lawrence, Enzo captained the French National U15 and U17 Squash teams and was a member of the team that finished 2nd at the European Junior Team Championships.
Enzo’s family and close friends, including our international student community and his teammates, will also need our support during the challenging days ahead. Even with most of our student community now away from campus for the holiday break, we have many resources available for support. These include the Chaplain’s office, Counseling Services, and the Dean of Student Life and International Student Services offices. Contact information for these departments can be found below.
Any student, regardless of location, may call our crisis/consultation line (315-229-1914) that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
For students remaining on campus, our counseling team is available and can always be accessed at any hour by calling Safety & Security at 315-229-5555. Students can also call Reachout of St. Lawrence County, a free, confidential, non-judgmental crisis and information hotline, at (315) 265-2422.
