In Memory: John Pike and Jeffery Peters

Dear Laurentian Friends,

We recently learned of the deaths of two retired members of the St. Lawrence Facilities Operations staff.

John Pike died on May 19; his ten-year service to St. Lawrence, 1987-1997, is remember by colleagues as one of high standards for his work and his ability to get along with everyone he met.  John enjoyed hunting and fishing and his family adventures.

Jeff Peters died on June 11.  A cleaner from 1986 to 2016, his favorite assignment was the Sullivan Student Center, where he interacted cheerfully with students and shared good humor with his colleagues.

On behalf of the St. Lawrence community, I extend sincere condolences to John’s and Jeff’s families and colleagues.
