In Memory: Terry Todd P'02, '03, GP'15

Dear Laurentian community,

In sadness, the St. Lawrence community pauses to remember Terry Todd P’02, ’03, GP’15, who passed away on November 11, 2021. For 41 years, Terry dependably—and quite literally—spread warmth across this campus as a boiler tender in Facilities Operations.

Those who worked closely with Terry knew him as a dedicated boiler operator and describe him as a big-hearted friend who would draw on his experience to help others, whenever and wherever he could.

Terry served our country as a U.S. Marine Reservist and served our local community as a bus driver for the Canton Central School District. He was also relied upon at his church’s soup kitchen, where he was a regular volunteer. A lifelong fan of the New York Yankees, Terry never wanted to miss live coverage of a single game.

He was especially proud of his family and being a Laurentian parent and grandparent. He is survived by his children, Lindsay and Justin; Teresa Todd, whom he married in 2014, having met the prior year. He became a loving father to Krista, Timothy, Kammi, Merrissa, and Thomas. He had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Debra Janes and brothers, Jeffrey and Martin Todd.

With deep gratitude, we honor our friend and colleague for his service to St. Lawrence and his commitment to our community.

Please celebrate Terry’s life and share your memories of him on the St. Lawrence University website and read others’ memories here.

Sincerely,
Kate Morris
