Peer Wellness Tutors

Peer wellness tutors assist fellow students with managing common college concerns and stressors, including adjustment to college and homesickness, academic stress and developing time management skills, finding a sense of belonging on campus, and accessing the numerous well-being tools offered at St. Lawrence. Peer wellness tutors are a great resource for students who want to improve their well-being, but aren't sure where to get started. 

Tutors attend a rigorous training and are supervised by professional staff.  Training is led by a combination of faculty and staff, including the Wellness Education office, Counseling Center, and faculty who teach Health Coaching courses. 

Students can meet with a tutor during evening and weekend open drop-in hours. Fall 2024 semester hours will be posted here once they are available.
