What’s one thing prospective students/families shouldn’t miss on their tour?

The renovated first-year residence halls! The renovations have been a game-changer for students with brand new furnitures and lounges as well as updated kitchens and laundry rooms.

What opportunity should every Laurentian take advantage of during their four years on campus?

Use the Center for Career Excellence to your advantage in every way possible. Being able to connect early with an alumni mentor and find internships is so beneficial when graduation comes around. These opportunities not only help solidify what you want to do but also help you figure out what you don’t want to do.

What is your favorite North Country adventure?

Walking different trails around the area. Although it is still on campus, I absolutely love being able to walk on the Saddlemire Trail and Kipp Tract because it goes directly past the equestrian barn. You can see the horses and even stop in if you’d like. The trails are so calming and make for a great place for students to go for a run or an afternoon stroll with your friends to unpack their day.
