Jungjun Park

Dr. Jungjun Park is an Assistant Professor of Economics at St. Lawrence University with a focus on finance. Jungjun completed his Ph.D. in Financial Economics at the Claremont Graduate University and taught a broad spectrum of finance courses including Business Finance, Foundation of Finance, Corporate Finance Theory, Investments, Derivative Markets, Financial Markets and Institutions, and Financial Modeling in R at the School of Business at the University of California, Riverside, Cal Poly Pomona, and University of Pittsburgh. At SLU, Jungjun teaches Investments, Applied Portfolio Management, and Financial Derivatives. His research primarily explores the impact of higher-moment (non-normal) risks on portfolio optimization and the application of machine learning techniques to quantitative finance. Dr. Park holds the Data Science for Investment Professionals Certificate from CFA Institute.
