Michael Jenkins

Michael A. Jenkins is Associate Professor of Economics.  He received his undergraduate degree from Bridgewater College and his doctorate from Penn State.  Prior to teaching at SLU he was on the faculties of the University of Wales (UK), University of Hull (UK), and Grinnell College.  

While at SLU he has been involved in international education and has taken students to Canada, France, China, and Senegal.  He teaches classes on international and global issues in economics.   His scholarship is in the field of international finance and has been published in Journal of International Economics, Journal of Macroeconomics, and Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics.
