Current Professional/Research Interest:
I am currently working on a book manuscript for UNC Press that is a collection of oral narratives from the Lumbee Tribe. I’m also working on a manuscript for Colorado University Press on the Sand Creek massacre of 1864.

Recently I have attended several conferences: the National Communication Association; the National Indian Education Association; Calcasa; and International Association of the Fantastic in the Arts.
