This month, Lizzie Edwards '12, M'13 shares her journey as an educator, coach, and lifelong learner. A dedicated St. Lawrence volunteer, Lizzie talks to us about the Young Alumni League and what makes it a unique competition among volunteers from different class years.
Lizzie Edwards '12, M'13 is an Upper School English and history teacher at Telluride Mountain School in Telluride, CO. Lizzie has a background in teaching Middle School and High School English and ESOL as well as serving as a Learning Center Faculty Member. She previously worked full-time in New England Boarding Schools (at Marianapolis Preparatory School in Connecticut for four years and Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire for three years). While at St. Lawrence, Lizzie earned a BA in English with minors in French and European Studies and a MA in Education: School Counseling and Human Development. She was a three-sport captain for cross country, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field teams. Lizzie is a dedicated volunteer for St. Lawrence having served in a variety of roles since graduating.
