General Information

Food Allergies and Intolerances:

St. Lawrence University Dining Services makes every attempt to identify ingredients which might cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies.  Every effort is made to instruct our food production staff on the severity of food allergies.  There is always a risk of contamination.  There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change or substitute at any time, without notice.  Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk.  St. Lawrence University Dining Services will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to food consumed, or items one may come in contact with while eating at any University establishments.  Students/customers with food allergies are encouraged to contact Dining Services at St. Lawrence University for additional information and/or support.

Meal Plan Information:

Meal plans can no longer be changed for the Spring 2025 semester.

Accessibility, Flexibility, Reliability: The Meal Plans at St. Lawrence University for 2024-2025 - school year.

The ability to make changes to your meal plans for Spring Semester 2025 runs through the end of the add drop period.   The add drop period has now ended and meal plans can no longer be changed for the Spring 2025 semester.

Our meal plans will bring continued flexibility coupled with increased accessibility to provide every student the reliability they desire.  With these plans, most students will no longer need to make additional deposits to their meal banks.

What's so good?

Dana hours 7:30 am - 8:30 pm, with set hours for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Students can eat 10 meals together per week anywhere with Dana take-out on the unlimited and Weekly 15 meal plans.
All students can eat 5 meals together per week in the Northstar Cafe and satellites using a meal exchange.
All students have Dining Dollars (like cash) to be used at the dining units on campus.  Dining dollars roll over between fall and spring semesters if you are returning to campus for the spring semester.  Anyone  who does not stay on a University Meal Plan from fall to spring, for example studies abroad, moving into a Greek Residence or withdraws from the Meal Plan, the Dining Dollars are forfeited and do not roll over.  Dining Dollars are only good for the academic year in which they are purchased and do not roll over between the spring semester of one academic year to the fall semester of the next academic year.
Extended hours could mean less density at specific times, especially lunch.
