April 2021 Safety Committee Minutes

MINUTES OF ST. LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY SAFETY COMMITTEE HELD VIA ZOOM
ON FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 2021 STARTING AT 8:00 AM.

Approval of the Minutes
New Business:
1.    Review pesticide application plan for Summer 2021 – Marcus presented plan to committee and committee approved it.
2.    Review updated integrated pest management plan – Marcus/Suna will bring draft to June meeting.
3.    Discussion of faculty/staff pet policy; John O’Connor raised utilizing spaces where food is not being consumed or served for approved pet spaces. Suggested that signage be placed where animals may be in buildings. Pet owners must have vaccination and licensing information on them at all times the animal is on campus.  The policy is still under review and revision.
