Outdoor Studies
Many St. Lawrence programs pride themselves on using the local community and the outdoors as their classrooms, but no one takes it quite as seriously as this program. Many students come to St. Lawrence with an interest in nature and the outdoors, and this minor gives students the chance to embrace their interest while experiencing the outdoors, studying natural history, and expressing one’s thoughts and feelings.
This program has two tracks and one of them features our well-known Adirondack Semester program, which would give you the opportunity to live off-the-grid in the Adirondacks for a semester, studying nature and human relationships with nature through classes while fostering a deeper understanding of and appreciation for the natural world.
