Observing at AO - Nov. 2013
SLU astronomers Dr. Aileen O'Donoghue and Jeffrey Miller traveled to the Arecibo Observatory for 4 nights of observing between November 24 and 27, 2013. Faculty and students from Union College, St. Mary's College of California and the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) were also at the observatory. We all became proficient observing using the L-Band Wide (LBW) instrument on the telescope to examine interesting objects discovered during the previous survey.
