Advocacy

The wise anthropologist, Margaret Mead, once said: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

There are several student organizations on campus that focus on advocacy and raising awareness on social justice concerns ranging from women's rights to protecting our environment. Some of these groups include Advocates, SLU's Humane Society, Environmental Action Organization (EAO), Advocates, and Spectrum. 

If you are passionate about advocating for a cause that does not already exist in the SLU community, start a new group!
