Cara Valentine '10

Graduating from St. Lawrence in 2010, Cara was hired as the Executive Director of Advancement Operations in December 2024 after working and then consulting in the fundraising operations realm.  She is responsible for the overall management of the Operations, Prospect Research, and Donor Relations teams and has a passion for all things related to process improvements, data, and assessment.

Originally from Harrisville, NY, Cara came to St. Lawrence as an Augsbury North Country Scholar and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics. Her parents graduated from St. Lawrence and were married in Gunnison Memorial Chapel. While at St. Lawrence, Cara was a member of Kappa Delta Sigma and tutored in the Peterson Quantitative Resource Center.
