2025 St. Lawrence Calendar
As we look to turn the page on 2024, we hope you'll consider supporting St. Lawrence before 11:59 p.m. on December 31. All donors who make a gift before the end of the year will receive the 2025 St. Lawrence calendar which features beautiful aerial images of our campus.
Gifts made online before 11:59 p.m. on 12/31/24 will receive a 2024 tax receipt. All checks must be postmarked by December 31, 2024, to be credited as a charitable gift in the 2024 tax year. Gifts can be received after January 1, 2025, and credited to the 2024 tax year as long as the postmark and the date of the check are both in 2024.

Tax- Smart Ways to Give
Appreciated Securities (Stock): Gifts of securities, such as stocks and mutual funds, entitle you to an income tax charitable deduction for their full market value.
Donor- Advised Fund (DAF): With a DAF, you may contribute a large sum to establish the fund and then, over time, recommend grants from your DAF to the organization you want to support, like St. Lawrence University

St. Lawrence University Announces $1 Million Gift to Endow the Director of the Laurentian Singers
St. Lawrence University has received a $1 million gift from Barbara Christie ’76 to create an endowment to permanently fund the position of the director of the Laurentian Singers and enhance the tradition of choral excellence at St. Lawrence University. In recognition of this gift, the University will name the Director of Laurentian Singers, the Barbara S. Christie ’76 Director of Laurentian Singers.
Appleton Arena Phase II
The Appleton Arena George W. Karpus ’68 Athletic Center will include locker rooms and facilities for the men's and women’s lacrosse, field hockey, softball, and men's and women’s rowing teams. It will also include an expansion of the Michael “Buddy” Cornacchia ’74 Strength and Conditioning Center to prepare Division III student-athletes for competition. Supporting this exciting, new chapter of Appleton Arena will ensure a successful experience for generations of future Saints.
Center for the Environment
The creation of a new Center for the Environment will enable all our students—through education, advocacy, and action—to develop the skills necessary to be agents of the change in their communities and around the world.
The Bloomberg Finance Lab
The Bloomberg Finance Lab features 14 student Bloomberg Terminal stations and an instructor desk in a striking contemporary design, with glass enclosures for optimal sightlines, modern, highly functional furnishings, and immediate visibility from ODY’s main floor. The lab opened in January 2023.

The 50-50s Don Leet Legacy Fund
“The 50-50s Don Leet Legacy Fund” (“50-50s Fund”) is a new endowment fund, supported by donors to the men’s lacrosse program, to honor and support men’s lacrosse student-athletes as they strive to uphold the values of character, competitiveness, grit, effort, determination, persistence, teamwork and the pursuit of excellence so important to Coach Leet’s daily philosophy as a coach, mentor, husband, father and friend.

The Campaign for Every Laurentian Impact Report
St. Lawrence University exceeded its goal for The Campaign for Every Laurentian, raising $232 million in gifts and commitments during the University’s largest comprehensive fundraising initiative in the institution’s 165-year history.
