Kurt Terrell
D. Kurt Terrell joined St. Lawrence University as Director of Planned Gifts in January of 2017.
He has over 25 years of advancement experience, and his work today focuses on partnering with Laurentians on their philanthropy to make an immediate and long-term impact on the University.
Prior to St. Lawrence, Kurt served as the Director of Advancement for North Country School and Camp Treetops in Lake Placid. He’s also worked at the Farm & Wilderness Foundation and World Learning in Vermont and at his alma mater, Earlham College.
Kurt travels primarily in the South, ADKs, and the Albany Capitol Region, and collaborates with colleagues to increase membership in the Legacy Society, which celebrates Laurentians who have made life-income and estate gifts to the University.
He lives in Canton, NY, with his wife Eden and their twins, Crosby and Harper, who are excited to cheer on the Saints.
