Following a competitive application process, Sarath Novas ’23 has been selected for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, an award that will support her off-campus study in London during the Spring 2022 semester.
St. Lawrence University buzzed with excitement on Friday, April 26, during the annual Festival of Science, Scholarship, and Creativity . Celebrating a campus-wide tradition that began in 2014, the day held an opportunity to learn from oral and poster presentations by 177 students about their research in a wide variety of fields and appreciate muscial and dance performances as well as the senior art exhibition.

Welcome, St. Lawrence Class of 2027!St. Lawrence’s newest Laurentians should already feel immensely proud of themselves. From their high school achievements in the classroom and community, the members of the Class of 2027 bring passion and curiosity to their next great adventure in the North Country and enter St. Lawrence with the highest-ever cumulative GPA of 93. Forty-three percent graduated at the top of their class. They celebrated their Matriculation on Sunday, August 20, and are now poised to make their mark on St. Lawrence. |

Saints Lacrosse End Seasons at NCAAs; Scarlet and Brown Earn All-League HonorsAfter a record-breaking season and first NCAA appearance in over three decades, Saints Women’s Lacrosse concluded its spring season during a second-round matchup against Tufts. The No. 10 Saints Men’s Lacrosse defeated Cortland 15-14 in the second round of the NCAA tournament but fell to Bowdin in the third round. This week, the men’s and women’s track and field teams will head to Pennsylvania to compete in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference. Spring Student-Athletes Earn Liberty League All-Academic HonorsA total of 109 St. Lawrence spring sport student-athletes earned Liberty League All-Academic honors, recognizing their all-star performances in the classroom. To be recognized as a member of the All-Academic Team a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30. |

Saints Basketball, Your Liberty League Champions!It was an electric Sunday afternoon in Burkman as the Saints men’s basketball team dominated RPI 50-42 in overtime to secure the Liberty League championship. In a standing-room-only crowd, the Scarlet and Brown extended their winning streak to eight and improve to 19-7 after defeating Hobart 80-78 in the semifinals on Friday. The Saints will go on to compete in the NCAA tournament. The weekend wins continued with men's ice hockey shutting out Dartmouth 2-0 at Appleton to secure the fourth seed in the ECAC Tournament while women's hockey beat Quinnipiac 3-2 to conclude its season. Men's squash defeated Middlebury and MIT 5-4 during the Semifinal round of the Summers Cup at the CSA Team Nationals while Erik Geier '23 defended his Liberty League title in the 60-meter hurdles and broke a decade-old school record during the championship meet in Rochester. In recognition of their excellence in the classroom, several winter sport student-athletes earned Liberty League All-Academic honors.
