    St. Lawrence Undergraduate Researchers to Observe Galaxies with Remote Telescope

    St. Lawrence students will observe galaxies using the world’s largest steerable, single-dish telescope in Green Bank, West Virginia, from their labs in Canton, N.Y., thanks to a successful observation proposal by a research team including Henry Priest Professor of Physics Aileen O’Donoghue and Haille Perkins ’22.

    St. Lawrence University Receives $10,000 Grant in Support of North Country Public History Project

    St. Lawrence recently received a $10,000 grant from the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) in support of a public history project that explores feminism in the North Country during the 1970s and 1980s.

  6. $84,000 in Funding Available for North Country Arts Events

    The St. Lawrence County Arts Council (SLC Arts) will be awarding $84,000 in grant funding, throughout Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties, to fund 2022 arts experiences. Through the New York State Council on the Arts’ State Community Regrants Program, grants are available to artists, collectives, local municipalities, public libraries, and non-profit organizations. Projects in any artistic field - music, visual arts, theater, dance, electronic media, film and literary arts, etc. - will be supported.
