Advocates Program

The Advocates Program is an inclusive campus-wide effort aimed at education and outreach, community coordination, prevention, and advocacy related to sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. Services include crisis intervention; the 24-hour Confidential Hotline; hospital, court, and judicial proceeding accompaniment; support groups; and safety planning.

The Associate Dean's Office is home to the Sexual Misconduct, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence and Stalking Review Board, the branch of the University Judicial System that hears complaints related to sexual misconduct. Services include convening the Review Board during a formal complaint; reviewing and keeping a written report of informal complaints; providing No Contact Orders and bans from campus as necessary, and making appropriate referrals. Chaplain's Office

The Chaplain's Office is a supportive resource for survivors of sexual violence, offering a 24-hour open door policy, spiritual advisors from different religious backgrounds, and a safe, supportive space for survivors to share their experiences without judgment.
Health & Counseling Services

The Health & Counseling Center is an ambulatory care center staffed with nurse practitioners, nurses, counselors, and a college physician. Services offered to survivors of sexual violence include free emergency contraception and STD/STI testing, routine gynecological care, and individual counseling related to sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and coping mechanisms used to deal with trauma. Residence Life

The Residence Life office is home to the student and professional staff that work to keep the residential halls a safe, supportive space for students to explore university life both academically and socially. Services available to survivors of sexual violence include actively listening to the survivor, completing safety plans, and providing access to safe rooms on campus as needed. Safe rooms are temporary, confidential housing options for a student who feels threatened in his or her residence hall.
Safety and Security

The Safety and Security staff is an essential resource to students impacted by sexual violence. Services include responding to emergency calls, assisting students in completing a report of the situation, investigating incidents of sexual misconduct, upholding No Contact Orders and bans from campus, providing information about safety planning, and making appropriate referrals. Each member of the Security and Safety staff has completed training on sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking.
