International and Intercultural Studies
St. Lawrence University supports off-campus programs in over 25 countries that allow students to enrich their majors, explore cultures in the US and beyond its borders, gain cross-cultural perspectives and skills, and prepare to be responsible global citizens. St. Lawrence University operates seven of its own semester- and year-long off-campus programs, which include deep cultural immersion and course work before, during, and after the off-campus program. The University also partners with other selected programs in different regions. Some involve direct enrollment in foreign universities. Others are operated by US colleges and universities or respected study abroad program providers. Students contemplating off-campus study should work with the CIIS staff and their on-campus academic advisor, before, during, and after their time away to integrate their off-campus study into their four-year program of study.
