Photography and video are an integral part of our visual style and a crucial tool in telling our story. All visuals should embody our brand personality, capturing the authentic St. Lawrence experience. Images should be expressive and compelling, communicating a sense of adventure, both inside the classroom and out, and should speak to our adventurous, passionate and supportive community.

Unfortunately, we can’t cover everything that happens on campus. Rest assured, big events will always have coverage. We prioritize assignments based on how those images will be used. The website, print publications, social media, and marketing take the lead. If we can’t be cover something, we can help guide you to get a great picture on your own.

There is no expectation of privacy in public or common spaces around campus, indoors and outdoors, and candid photography and videography taken in these spaces do not require consent. If you see a photographer or videographer on campus and do not wish for your image to be recorded, politely decline to be included.
