St. Lawrence Hosts Laurentian Networking Reception for Fall NYC Semester Students
CIISOn Wednesday, October 23, St. Lawrence held a Laurentian Networking Reception at the prestigious Cornell Club in New York City (NYC). The event provided an opportunity for our 16 NYC Semester students to connect with alumni and other members of the Laurentian community. Thanks to the enthusiastic turnout from our alumni, the room was filled to capacity, reflecting the strong support for the program and St. Lawrence's dedication to fostering professional connections.

St. Lawrence Partners with Duke for Fast-Track Environmental Master’s Program
St. Lawrence University students aiming for careers in environmental management or forestry now have a unique opportunity to fast-track their education, thanks to a new partnership with Duke University’s prestigious Nicholas School of the Environment. Through a newly established 3:2 Cooperative College Program, high-achieving students can earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in just five years.

Nach InsaurraldeBefore finding archaeology, Dr. Shinu Anna Abraham wanted to be a psychologist, a detective, and a translator. In her early career, she worked as a technical writer and an editor, but this was all before realizing that she felt more comfortable in academia –a place where she could grow intellectually. In anthropology, she found a field that allowed her to explore her own identity, and her place in the world.
