St. Lawrence University Resources
Richard F. Brush Art Gallery
St. Lawrence University's on-campus art gallery has regular exhibitions throughout the school year. Named in recognition of the generosity of Richard F. Brush '52, the Gallery is an academic resource of St. Lawrence University. The mission of the gallery is to acquire, preserve, interpret, exhibit, and otherwise make accessible works of art for the benefit of a variety of audiences, in support of the educational goals of the University and for the benefit of the community at large.
Newell Center for Arts Technology
St. Lawrence University’s state-of-the-art, interdisciplinary arts technology facility, NCAT for short. Located in the Noble Center, the NCAT exists for two reasons: it meets the technological needs of the arts departments in teaching and learning; and it serves as a hub for collaborative, interdisciplinary efforts — both within the arts and across campus. The NCAT staff works with faculty, staff, and students to coordinate the necessary facilities, equipment, and training to explore the intersections among digital technologies and the arts.
Finding Arts Events
Art & Art History 'Presence' Page
Presence is a digital service used across the St Lawrence University campus that allows each department to notify Students, and others, about upcoming events for their own department. You can join a departmental group to receive notifications specifically from them and also contact a department. The main overview page for Presence, referred to as 'SLUdent Life', can be found here: https://stlawu.presence.io. There is also an App that can be downloaded to your phone that makes this information portable. Go to the Presence overview page for a link to download the App.
