Laboratory Facilities
The Chemistry Department, in Johnson Hall of Science, houses a complete line-up of modern chemical instrumentation. Johnson Hall of Science is a modern science facility, certified GOLD LEED for environmental design and construction. The instruments inside include steady-state and nanosecond fluorescence, a full complement of chromatographic capabilities, and a new Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer. Our computer capabilities include an Ada high-performance computer, programming languages like Python, and software for chemistry like Spartan Molecular Modeling and ChemDraw.
