Please note that when planning an event in a room located in any Residential facilities the Residential Coordinator/Building Coordinator must also be contacted regarding your reservation request.
Reserving a Room in the Sullivan Student Center
All Student Center facilities are scheduled through the Office of Student Activities and Leadership. You may contact Timberly Hewitt for assistance with reserving a space in the Student Center. There are certain restrictions involved with reserving the Winston Room and the Hannon Room so please email Timberly for assistance with scheduling those specific spaces. It is important to also include the Office of Student Life when making a request to reserve the Hannon Room as that office is responsible for regulating that room.
The Student Activities & Leadership Office reserves all Student Center rooms on a space-available basis. All reservations should be made at least five working days in advance during normal business hours. A room reservation typically involves custodial work orders, keys, changes in room cleaning schedules, and set-up and break-down arrangements. Therefore, you must inform the the individual in charge of your reservation immediately of any changes or cancellations in order to alert the appropriate staff in a timely manner.
Whether you are planning a lecture series, theme party, or trip to a local attraction, meet with a member of the Student Activities & Leadership staff first to discuss your plans and to consult the activities calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts. In addition, refer to the Programming 101 guide located on the Student Activities and Leadership website. The guide contains information about budgetary, publicity, AV equipment, refreshments, and other needs to be considered during planning.
