Residence Life Quality Of Student Life Survey
Survey Date: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2018 End of November (after Thanksgiving break)
Population Surveyed: All students
Instrument Type: In-House Survey
The Residence Life Quality of Student Life Survey explores to what extent students are satisfied with their overall residential experience, including their sense of community, the support they receive, facilities, their sense of safety and the room draw process. In addition, the survey adds a current topic on a rotating basis. For example, in 2014, the survey collected input on room layout preferences when Kirk Douglass Hall was built; in 2018 it included questions from Dining Services to help assess the new meal plan. Results from the survey assist Residence Life and other related departments such as Dining Services, facilities Operations, and Safety & Security to work collaboratively towards our mission and help ensure a productive and positive living-learning experience for all students.
